Easter Basket Tutorial

Want to made an Easter Basket?

Now is your chance to made an easy quick little basket.

Supplies needed:
12 x 12 sheet of Card stock
Designer Paper (it can be all the same or different. You will need four pieces 2-3/4" x 2-3/4"Embellishments: I used flowers, ribbon and a brad. Decorate your box anyway you would like.

Cut your card stock 11" x 11". Save the 1" piece as it will be your handle.
Please read all directions before starting this project.

Step #1

You will score your card stock at 1" and 4" on all four sides.

Step #2

You will now cut away the 1" sections just leaving the middle section on all four sides.

Step #3

You will now cut on your score lines (on two opposite sides only) up to the middle panel.

Crease all of your score lines.

Step #4
On your four- 1" flaps cut at an angle. This will help with the folding process.

Step #5

Place Sticky Strip (or any strong adhesive) where you see the white in the photo. This is your back side.

On the front side now is the time to add your designer series paper or stamp the front four panels.

Step #6
You will now assemble your box by folding the two outside panels of your box in matching your sides.

You can see how the box folds.

Another view.

This is how your box should look at this point.

Step #7
Place Dimensionals on all four undersides of the 1" lip. Remove the protective cover and adhere your lip to the box front.

Step #7
You will now recover the 1" strip that you set aside.

Score in the middle of this strip approximately 1" down. This will help the handle to fit in the creases of the corners.

Before you adhere to the box add ribbon to the handle if you want.

This is how your box should look before you decorate it.

Finished Basket.
Now all you have to do is fill it.

I would love to see your finished baskets.
